Even though you get a red battery light that goes on when you switch the units on, I have never had them go off on an all day shoot using these batteries. The right side earpiece of the headset has the ability to accept an included stereo cable. The way this works is fairly simple. Included is everything you see in the pictures.

The other end plugs into your camera's headphone jack output. One end of the cable plugs into the stereo to mono adapter on the headset.
