Frequencies can be programmed to your liking between 136 to 174mhz in each of 16 memory channels via using software and programming cable. Note: all Wouxun radios are rugged built radios.

FCC has allocated 5 frequencies that can be used for business and personal use. Listed under new other, since opened it to test it and verify if the radios were in working condition. That's what they use my work.

If you already have. New KG-819 vhf. How ever if radio is programmed with murks frequencies than no license needed. My work place bought extra radios then they needed it.

This radio comes with pre-programmed frequency memory for 16 frequency channels. FCC requires to have license to use most of these frequencies.
