There is no microphone nor external power cord for this listing. All buttons beep when pushed and switches through different menus on the screen. The volume knob turns it on and off.

Web search says it's uhf and I live out in the country so not much use for uhf here. I did my testing with crimped flag slide spades that just happened to fit.

It can be used for narrow band according to: action radio's narrowband info page smells like a nonsmoking unit. The beeps get louder when I turn up the volume, so volume co. Just the radio as pictured. What I know about this radio: the LCD lights up with numbers and stuff.
