The Tait TP9360-HK two-way radio uses T03 batteries as their power source. Here are some pros and cons of buying these batteries: Pros:1. Long battery life: T03 batteries offer a longer talk time compared to other types of batteries. They can last up to 16 hours on a single charge, which is ideal for users who require extended communication without interruption.
2. High capacity: T03 batteries have a higher capacity compared to standard NiMH or alkaline batteries. This means they can provide more power to the radio, resulting in better performance and a stronger signal.
3. Consistent performance: T03 batteries provide consistent performance throughout their lifespan. They maintain their charge well and do not suffer from the memory effect that NiMH batteries can experience.
4. Environmentally friendly: T03 batteries are rechargeable and can be used multiple times, reducing the need for disposable batteries. This is a more eco-friendly option and can save users money in the long run.
Cons:1. Expensive: T03 batteries are more expensive than standard NiMH or alkaline batteries. This can be a barrier for some users who may prefer a more cost-effective option.
2. Limited availability: T03 batteries may not be as easily available as other types of batteries. Users may need to order them online or through specialized retailers, which can add to the inconvenience and cost.
3. Charging infrastructure: To use T03 batteries, users will need to have a charging infrastructure in place. This can add to the initial investment and ongoing costs.
Conclusion:The T03 batteries offer several advantages for users of Tait TP9360-HK two-way radios, including longer battery life, high capacity, consistent performance, and eco-friendliness. However, they come with some disadvantages such as cost, limited availability, and the need for charging infrastructure.
Recommendation:If you require extended communication without interruption and prioritize consistent performance and eco-friendliness, then the T03 batteries are a good investment. However, if cost is a concern, you may want to consider using standard NiMH or alkaline batteries and invest in rechargeable batteries if you frequently use your radio. Ultimately, the decision depends on your specific communication needs and budget.
The portable has inbuilt GPS, Bluetooth wireless technology and is IP67 protection rated. This portable is a highly reliable, modern, digital radio solution that designed for mission critical environments. These two radios appear to be very nice. I have not tested them though so I m selling as is.
Tait DMR offers a digital communications solution based on the Tier 3 trunking standard. The Tait TP9360 portables offer trucked DMR operation as well full MPT 1327, and conventional FM functionality in one device. Both units appear very clean, but I don't know if they work or not see why wouldn t. It looks like these were special and had something added onto them as well.
One for sure is The Tait TP9360 DMR and seems like it was a test model maybe even. It can roam between DMR and MPT networks.
