Radio comes with: Kenwood TH-78A transceiver, two newer rechargeable batteries, mfg speaker mic, universal battery charger, non-original antenna, sliding keyboard cover, belt clip and lanyard. Kenwood TH-78A fm transceiver true dual band this radio is in great condition. From Kenwood: the Kenwood TH-78A is a sophisticated dual-band for 144 and 440 MHz. Comes from a smoke-free home.

No manual included but it is easily downloaded from the internet. It works as it should on both vhf and uhf. It listens to both bands simultaneously. Built tough.

This transceiver features the optional me-1 board that increases the memory capacity from 50 to 250. The rubber cover for the speaker/mic jack is missing. As soon as a signal is received on one band, the other shifts from receive to transmit and re-transmits the incoming signal page 28 of owners manual. This transceiver is capable of operating as a repeater.

It has built-in DDTs and paging. Cross band operation. No modifications or repairs.
