Made in japan. It telescopes out to an amazing 3 feet 4 inches and compacts into the unit less than 1 inch. The antenna is all good except top button which has threads, it was unscrewed off, not broken. I did not get to talk on it, have no idea what channel it would be.
4 ounce without a 9 volt battery not included very good condition, especially considering the age. Weighs in at 1 pound. A vintage st. Moritz TC-90 citizens band transceiver 9 transistor japan-works.
I have no idea of the age, am guessing 50s to early 60's. There is a battery chart showing how to install 7 AA batteries despite the fact it has connector for 9 volt, and I found totally dead volt in when purchased. Takes a single 9 volt battery, and when I installed fresh battery it came to life.
The battery compartment looks like they almost always do.
