It has 25 watts of output power and receives nicely. This is a narrow band model, The display is alpha/numeric capable when programming channels. 5khz deviation.

Up for your consideration is a Tait 2020 -423-000 fm 175-235 mhz transceiver. The mike is not original it is a radio shack replacement. This was my base unit for a couple of years but 220 never took off here.

All the functions work and is reloaded with several simplex channels and a few area cities for my area. I never got one with it when I purchased it. Talk around is enabled from the front panel and it can hold 100 channels.

This is a used series 1 model with the firmware version of 4. I put a rca jack on the speaker wires to facilitate this. I purchased it used myself.
