Hello Er's, what makes this radio so great for flying is the voice annunciation feature. Radios are brand new 16 ch. When you rotate the knob and change channels, a voice comes over your headset and says channel 1 channel 2 etc. Both model's are palm size, with an 1100 MASH battery, all metal chassis, CTS - DC's, time out timer, priority scan and busy channel lockout.
