Hello, offered here is a pair of brand new Realistic model TRC-101 solid state cb's with 23 channels from 1973 and the condition is as follows. I have used 12 AA's for test and there was no issues, the battery trays are unblemished, again these are new. Just like it says brand new in box complete with Styrofoam, original storage bags and cases. Both units were tested out and they still work great, when you take them out of their bags the cases still smell new no lie.
There are no manuals present though and only one unit has its original two dummy batteries that were originally included, these were most likely lost over these last 39 years. Both boxes are like new with no rips or tears and only showing minimal edge wear due to storage. Both units antennas are mint with no damage.
It is rare to find these old school units anymore but in new condition it's nearly impossible. The units take 12 AA rechargeable or 10 regular AA's with the two dummy batteries inserted to make the 12.
