They run on 3 AA batteries which are not included. These are very rugged for all outdoor use whether it's hunting, skiing or caravan with other vehicles. You are buying on 4 barely used Motorola talkabout 250 radios with belt clips. Two have a been marked on top with a marker as they Wren't part of the original set.

They have a 2 mile range and much further on the open road and do not require a license. Radios are in excellent shape. They have 14 different channels and each channel has 38 sub channels for privacy.

They have a channel scan and channel lock button that the less expensive radios don't include. If you're looking only at Motorola, then you know quality. Either way, all work flawlessly.
