This radio can really reach out for miles not sure how far but it has more watts I think then any hand held radio. Would be great in a motor home or truck when out camping to keep in contact with other carrying hand gelds. It is model number SL-10m serial number 99020074 it puts out 25 watts on 2 different gmrs channels.
Radio has been in side stored for years purchased it for a remote cabin camp but never had the need to install it so it just stayed stored.
