This is not your basic mobile GMRS radio.Other features include group call, all call and select options, commander, DTMF encode decode, high low power selectivity, single tone pulse frequency, reverse talk around, an SOS function, English voice prompts a stopwatch timer. Its not your typical mobile GMRS radio!The KG-XS20G Plus has 30 channels, including 8 repeater and can receive on dual UHF VHF bands.

A powerful speaker is built into the top of unit, with ample volume to be heard above noise on road. It has a built-in FM radio. The radio also includes two programmable function keys that can be customized either with the programming software or directly from menu on itself. It has channel scan, priority scanning, and the ability to create up 10 scan groups.

The display has four color themes. It also features a Night Mode option that can be activated by programmable key. It can display one or both A and B areas of the radio, as well channel names, numbers frequencies, plus Caller ID info on vehicle voltage . Its not your typical in-dash car radio, to be sure.The XS20G Plus is loaded with features, some that are standard on a few other mainstream GMRS mobiles, but many more aren't.

And it does all this at a price that won't wallop your wallet. It has TX and RX LED indicators a volume knob for independent control of the audio on front speaker mic.
