It needs the power cable. So, they can not be used until they are re-programmed. Man died who was going to program them.
I have 6 of these astro radios. But, have never been DE-programmed. And never used them.
Great radios at a great price for the lot. And all have a few scuffs. And the hunting group that was going to use them basically have passed on - or just quit the radios were government surplus. There are 6 m 4595 batteries - and 6 NT 4593d batteries the radios have been tested with the cigarette lighter power and - they all worked fine.
There is one leather carrier. It is illegal to transmit on them in their present frequencies. I have no way to program them - or would have done so. The charger does 6 batteries at one time.
