Nearly all used radios i've gotten on had bad batteries, but you won't get them from me. Also have Noah weather radio for emergencies. 4 Midland GXT-740 radios, 4 brand new battery packs, 4 belt clips, 1 charging base, 1 ac adapter, and a user manual.

You'll get radios fully tested, working, and ready to go; no guessing, no trial and error. These are exactly the same as the GXT-760, just a different color pattern.

If I am not happy with the battery life when I get them, I put in brand new batteries. 5 watts of power for up to 34 mile reception, but up to several miles max is a realistic expectation for handheld radios in most conditions. The radios have 42 channels, 142 privacy codes, 10 call tones, with 3 power level settings to help conserve battery life.
