The programming software is simple and easy to use and you can buy a programming cable on also for about $40 from refuges the Chinese made ones don't work. Or I will program it for you at no charge before I ship it out. This is a nice 8 channel uhf radio, that can be programmed to 450-470mhz. It is the more powerful 25 watt version.

This radio is perfect for gmrs and can be programmed for frequency splits so it can be used with a repeater. It has been tested and works fine and comes with a new hand mic nos and a 110vac power adapter or it can run off any 12vdc source. You can download the manuals and programming software here. It has CTS but not DC's. There are some cosmetic blemishes, scratches, etc but nothing too ugly.
