They have been taken apart, repaired and parts replaced if needed. Both radios work and look the same use frequency's, one has just little different software update. Note: older radio antennas have become brittle with in time.

Other than that these radios are in good condition and working order. The only thing that I could not check is speaker mic, no guarantee on mic plug working. Once installed this tubing will and does make the antenna stronger to take extra abuse in field. Motorola cp1 XV2600 2 watts , the CP100 is a 15 channel and 6.

Just install 4 AA batteries and use. That is why all or most of these radios antennas will have been repaired with high quality and strength industrial shrink tubing. You get what see in the picture.
